Emil has provided a wide array of services to clients in the field of general corporate, privacy, technology, media and telecommunication, as well as commercial IP. He has assisted in the preparation of an internal data governance policy for one of Indonesia’s largest IT service companies and advised a global social media company on electronic systems and marketing compliance for one of their newly launched services. Emil has also advised various foreign clients on the establishment of their Indonesian operations, whether through joint venture or franchising arrangements.

Before joining K&K Advocates, Emil served as an in-house legal counsel for one of Southeast Asia’s largest education technology companies, mainly advising on product compliance, personal data protection, and intellectual property matters.
