Bhredipta has extensive experience in TMT as well as IP, focusing on regulatory advisory, legal audit compliance, and contentious work. His experience ranges from providing legal advice on various privacy and personal data protection matter, including reviewing and drafting privacy policies as well as filing regulatory compliance on behalf of clients from various industries.
He has conducted privacy impact assessment for an application developed by one of Indonesian’s State-Owned Companies, assisted US-based fashion industry player in managing its products portfolio in Indonesia, and assisted telecommunication and pharmaceutical companies in patent-related disputes. He also often performs government outreach on behalf of the firm’s clients.
Bhredipta is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) by International Association of Privacy Professional (IAPP). He has also taken part in various trainings on information privacy, cyber security, and IP management. During his study in UC Berkeley, he joined a Cybersecurity Clinic where he helped improve cyber security management policies for not-for-profit organizations. He is a member of Multistakeholder Advisory Group of Indonesia Internet Governance Forum, Coordinator of Indonesia Youth Internet Governance Forum, and frequently writes publication on privacy issues in various public media.
To broaden his expertise and experience, Bhredipta is currently serving as a Policy and Regulatory Specialist (Tenaga Ahli) for Ministry of Communication and Informatics whilst maintaining his position as of counsel with K&K. Bhredipta, to the extent that his involvement on the project(s) does not pose potential conflict, would remain available to assist clients on a project basis when his specific expertise is required.
